Franklin Bank - Fake Emails

We are aware that fraudulent emails ("phishing" emails) are being sent to our valued Internet banking customers from phony email addresses that appear similar to legitimate Franklin Bank email addresses. If you suspect that you have received a fraudulent email, delete it immediately and report it to onlinebanking@bankfranklin.com.

Please DO NOT reply back or click any link within these emails. The links referenced in these emails are fraudulent and when clicked, the user is taken to a website, where the user is asked for his or her personal information.

As a valued Franklin Bank Internet banking customer, we want you to know that:

1. We will never send you an email requesting your password, user identification number, Franklin Bank account number or social security number. Franklin Bank does not use email to request our customers' personal information.
2. If you receive a suspicious email or telephone call, please contact Franklin Bank's 24-hour Fraud Hotline at 1.877.209.1407. This is a toll-free number, and you may choose to make an anonymous call or you may leave your name and telephone number so that we can contact you for further information.
3. If you have responded to an email and provided information, such as your account number, credit card number or social security number, please contact the Electronic Banking Manager at 1.800.552.0784 x1432 as soon as possible.
